About Us
Susan Dingle, CFP®, is President and a founding member of Aventura Family office. After earning a degree in accounting, Susan began her career in 1985 as the Supervisor of Retirement Benefits for a major energy company in Houston, TX. She worked with hundreds of employees who were saving for retirement or transitioning into retirement, but as an employee of the corporation she was prohibited from offering them financial advice.
Susan learned first-hand how basic financial advice could make a difference in someone’s long-term financial success.
In 1993, Susan had the opportunity to join David Hill, CFP®, at Dean Witter Reynolds as a Financial Advisor. Together they served hundreds of individuals and families seeking financial advice for their investments. In 1997, after Dean Witter merged with Morgan Stanley, she earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations and was awarded the title of Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor.
In 2010 Susan and David formed Aventura Family Office. They built a team focused on giving their clients completely independent and unbiased financial advice. Their goal was to share what they had learned over the course of their careers and guide people with advice, strategies, and tools to help them achieve financial freedom.
